Holy Hormones - I cried at King Kullen yesterday!
oh my goodness I never thought it would happen to me. I've made it 38 weeks without crying (in public anyway)...
So I'm running around trying to get a bunch of things done yesterday (dry cleaning, picking up DH's Valentine's Day present and gift wrap stuff, Costco) and last on the list was King Kullen. I needed to get ice cream and coffee for our dinner's dessert....I get the ice cream and I go over to the coffee area and look for the kind of beans I want and I put down my ice cream so that I can have better control over the bag and the dispenser controls (-- learned this the hard way earlier in the PG!). The bin looks like it's full, but when I pulled the lever, only a couple of beans fell out. So I tapped on the bin and got a couple more beans to come out. Well, apparently I must have knocked the bin above it out of place on its shelf and as I'm leaning over, the bin on top comes tumbling down, hits me in the head, and continues tumbling across the dairy aisle towards the yogurt! Swiss chocolate almond beans went crashing all over the place and I look up to see a crowd of people looking at this crazy, very pregnant woman with a pint of ice cream and a tiny little pile of beans. The very nice man who stocks the dairy aisle (whom I see every week) came over and tried to put everything back together, but I started crying anyway. Poor little old man tries to calm me down and I look over to see the other customers trying to manuever their carts around the beans, but people start slipping, the beans are crunching, and I feel like a giant loser. I then walk all the way through the store toward the checkout lane with teary eyes and a flustered face - I still can't figure out why there were so many freakin people at the King Kullen at 1 o'clock in the afternoon on a Thursday. BTW- we live in a pretty smallish town - King Kullen is our only grocery store and everyone knows everybody else - I don't usually get embarrassed, but I don't want to go back until after the baby arrives - I'm hoping that's within the next two weeks. AND I left with only a small layer of the coffee beans I needed - poor DH didn't have any coffee with our dessert last night....

OMG...I'm starting to dread the crying phase now! I'm sorry this happened - but I'm sure noone is going to hold it against you. I'm not sure I wouldn't have cried even if I wasn't PG after that whole experience.

I hate to admit but that had me laughing...seems like something out of a comedy I know it wasn't funny going through it though so here's some I've noticed that now that i'm in the lst month I am much more emotional now.
