Across The Universe
I just watched this movie and I absolutely loved it!
I love musicals and this had almost every great Beatles song. Its one of those movies I could watch over and over! However, it probably wont be for you if you arent a fan of movies where people break out into song and dance.

I LOVED this movie! We saw it in the theater and I can't wait to buy the DVD so that I can watch it again.

We watched last weekend from Netflix, you are going to love it!
The music is wonderful, there are a couple, uh, trippy scenes, but I really loved it and really want the soundtrack for my car.

Being the completely obsessed Beatles fan that I am, I can't believe I haven't seen it yet! My mom saw it before I ever did! She goes to the movies alot though, I don't.
Can't wait! Gotta see this and Sweeney Todd! So glad this is out on DVD already. Gonna have to rent it over next week's break from school!
Is this something I could watch with my 10 year old nephew? He loves the Beatles - I trained him well (or as my sister says- brainwashed him ). He used to be obsessed with Yellow Submarine!

I'm trying to remember exact pieces of it. It might be a bit confusing for a 10-year-old, and there are some violent scenes (I don't want to give away any spoilers), as well as clear drug references, so I would probably avoid it.

awww darnit...he's a pretty mature and sensitive kid, he'd probably be fine but I suppose I shouldn't chance it. I'll ask my sis. He's watched a few things he shouldn't have watched (like um, There's Something About Mary! ) because of his dad!
