can someone please-UPDATE
tell me they know of someone who had a successful pregnancy with a beta that did not double at first?
I got a message from my nurse that "your numbers did not rise the way we would have liked. they did go up but nowhere near where they should". They want me back Saturday for a recheck and all I can do is sit here and cry my eyes out. I can't believe I'm hearing this again. But is there a chance? Honestly? I've been cramping all day and I thought it was normal but now I'm convinced I'm going to miscarry again.
UPDATE
I had to rush to dr this am because last night I was in such severe pain and it winds up I have a moderate case of OHSS. My stomach is sooo distended. He's going to watch me closely and determine by Tuesday if he needs to drain me. He said my beta was 173 yesterday but because I had my betas done at two different labs theres a small chance that might why there was no doubling. So he took my blood again today and will let me know tomorrow what the result is. Ugh. This whole process is just so frustrating I just want to

What are your beta #'s? Technically they should double every 72 hours not every 48. I would call and get your numbers. In the meantime I'm sending you lots of sticky vibes and

If you go to the IVF connections board there is a board deicated to betas and it has some hopeful cases on there for sure!

I'm sorry you are going through this...I've heard of the number doubling every 72 hours and the women going on to have successful pregnancies.
173 sounds like a good number, even for a second beta.
Sorry about the OHSS, hopefully you won't have to be drained...it's not a pleasant experience, I had to do it...but be forewarned - if you are PG, the OHSS can get worse.
