Whats going on in VAlley Stream?
I drove to my parent's house (near Central High school) to pick up my son. There is a helicopter flying over Flecther Avenue and a police car at EVERY street blocking people from entering... As I passed by I can see there are police cars down all of the streets...
Anyone know what's going on?

I live a block away from Central HS and there are cops everywhere!!! Something must have happened in the HS because my mom also saw an ambulance there too.
Anyway I saw a HS kid being chased by the cops and he ran up my neighbor's driveway then apparently disappeared

Update: my mom just spoke to the neighbor who's driveway he ran up and the cops just informed her they caught him!
ETA: I'm still hearing helicopters overhead so not sure if they are looking for anyone else.

Ok the helicopters stopped. My neighbor said they caught him hiding between her house and the house behind hers.  Still not sure what he did but I don't think it's something minor.

I used to work at the Catholic school right over there, and this happened about 3 times during the time that I worked there.
Can't say I miss that area all that much...

Wow, I went to Central and grew up in Valley Stream. It's so hard to hear how much the town changed since I was a kid.
