ANOTHER car question
So now I have added the chevy impala as one of the options for me. Will most car companies eat the over mileage charges on a lease if you re-lease with the same company?
What has been your experience with this?
thanks

Re: ANOTHER car question
I've never had an over mileage issue, but if you lease from the same company, they usually will see past most things.

Re: ANOTHER car question
when we are coming close to ending our jeep lease we could have rolled over into another one and they would eat the over mileage. They wanted us to upgrade from a liberty to a cherokee, so I was under the impression they want to you to get a "better" car, not an equal or lesser lease.

Re: ANOTHER car question
yes, I've always had them get me out of my lease early or eat the miles. They want to keep you as a customer.
This is why you have to base your lease on the price of the car not the monthly payment. If you don't, they can "hide" the extra money in the lease and you will be paying for it anyway.

Re: ANOTHER car question
Yup! I got out of my last lease 4 months early and I was 10,000 miles over my limit.
I had a jeep liberty and upgraded to the cherokee. They paid my last 4 months off and my over miles. I leased a brand new cherokee and didn't have to pay a penny extra to get out of my old lease.
I have a year left on the cherokee I have now and i'm definitely going to jeep in 6 months to get out early.
