How did you know what to register for and what products were " best" - I need to start doing some research.

I just took a "mommy " my SIL has 4 children so she told me more or less what to get!

Baby Bargains is really useful and when I still couldn't make up my mind I looked at Consumer Reports' book on Best Baby Products. I picked them both up at Barnes and Nobles.

i used recommendations from friends, and then if i found something i liked i would do a search for it online too so i could see wht kind of reviews it had, if no one i knew had it.

Same with me. I also read the reviews that BRU has on their websites for products and took that into account as well.
