another vitamin question
i made my 1st appt with the doc on mon the 25th
is it ok for me to wait to take vitamins until seeing the doctor? i dont even know where to begin to look for them OTC?
please help...thanks so much

Girls say they have gotten them from Target before.
It is really good to have vitamins in your body, it helps the baby's growth.

yup, you can even take generic CVS ones and just pick up a bottle of 80mg of Folic Acid.

go into any target / walgreens / cvs.... everyone has a couple 'prenatal' vitamins. Just choose one. They replace any daily vitamin you may take now...

Yes, imo it is better to take one that already has enough folic acid in it. Just one less pill to take. Just make sure whichever one you get has 800mcg of folic acid in it. I take the Rite Aid brand, which is super cheap and my Dr. said it was just fine. You can find the prenatals in the vitamin section of any drug store (cvs, target, rite aid, etc.).

When my HPT came up positive I went to my primary care practitoner who gave me a blood test to confirm the pregnacy he also started me on folic acid right away until i got an appointment with my OB
