Parvo

As I've been posting, Lilly is not feeling well. She will be going to the vet ths afternoon to be checked out and have tests run on her stool.

I'm freaking myself out here reading things online (I know, I shouldn't do this Chat Icon ) and her symptoms match what is described for the parvovirus.

I know, I know, I shouldn't get upset until the vet checks her out and I should stop reading things on the internet, but I'm so worried....

Re: Parvo

Honestly if she hasn't been feeling well for a few days i don't think it would be parvo. You would notice bloody stool and mucusy stool BUT her stool would also smell like something you would have never smelled before. It is the most horrible smell EVER. It could be parasites. Giardia? Does she go outside and have interaction with other dogs. HAs she ever eaten anythig off the ground where other dogs have done thier business? This is how Porter had gotten Parasites we think, from taking him to the park. IT could be a number of things but i think it would be A lot worse if it was parvo. We got a dog from NSAL years ago that had parvo, the moment he showed any signs he was almost gone.

I hope lilly feels better soon Chat Icon Chat Icon
