My embarrassing adventure at BBB

So on Sat. on I went with my Mom to BBB to pick up the "necessities" for the baby (diapers, nursing stuff, etc.) and finish out what I thought I needed from my registry. I was exhausted all day, but it was nothing out of the ordinary.

Fast forward to an hour later when we were finally ready to check out (I couldn't believe it took us that long either). We were standing on line at a cash register. We were next. The register next to ours opened up and the cashier said "Next." So I sped waddled over to the line, but some woman got there before me and, of course, had to deal with a whole return issue without a receipt. She was taking forever and our original line filled up already.

By this point, I was beyond tired, hungry and I started getting really hot. Out of nowhere and with no warning or reason, I start bawling. Like face red, tears streaming down the face bawling. I never cry in public, so this was shocking to me and my mom. I told my mom to finish up for me as I ran to the car. I was so embarrassed. Talk about 0 control over emotions. Apparently, the cashiers felt so badly as if they had done something wrong. My mom told them that "This is a very emotional time for her."

OMG, I scared my poor mom. She thought maybe I was going into labor. So embarrassing. Evil hormones!

What kind of an a hole cuts off a 9 month prego on line?!?!?! I can not BELIEVE you said nothing- I would have stabbed her.

I'm sorry that your story made me laugh, but I could completely picture it, and picture myself doing the same thing.

Oh please, don't even feel bad! I was laughing through the tears (after I got over the inital embarrassment) b/c it was so random. I must've looked like a real psycho!

OMG I totally feel for you. I get anxiety from having to wait in line on a normal day...I can totally understand how you felt being 9 mos. pregnant and having to deal with it!

U poor thing... People are total a$$e$ and for the lady who took the next spot in line - I hope she fell really hard on her way out of the store and hurt herself!

I'm glad you were able to laugh about your outburst after the fact. I have totally done the crying thing myself. I actually came close to doing it the other night @ WalMart...

Going to those stores on a weekend would make any pregnant woman cry!!! I was there myself on Sunday and I was like ready to cry or kill someone! It is a mad house and it becomes a very stressfull thing to have to even go to these stores... I hate it. When you work full time though, it's hard to go any other time besides the weekend.

I feel your pain, I can see myself doing the same thing! In fact I was crying on and off on Saturday driving my husband nuts!! I had to go to a black tie affair and I didnt' like the dresses I had to choose from, ps I ended up buying a new one about 2 hours before we had to leave. My poor DH for having to put up with me.

I was the SAME way! I nearly burst into tears on the subway a few times. No need to be embarrassed. You'll never get away with it again.
