I called about a cat that needed a home last week

the woman was very nice, asked for my vet's name - but said there was someone else that wanted him

I called a few more times- and didn't get a call back - I figured they would at least try to get me to take another animal


DH thinks it's b/c our address listed with the vet is an apartment- it's not even where were currently live

We still live in an apartment- but it's larger then most houses in the area - and this was an indoor cat anyway

thoughts?

ETS- I didn't fill out an application- so issue isn't that the addresses didn't match

I didn't even get that far

and this shelter is in the office of my vet- who I know would have nothing but great things to say about us

they try to get me to adopt a cat every time I go in there
