I feel like cr@p

I don't know what is going on with my body. I triggered last Saturday and had the IUI done on Sunday. For the past couple of days, my pants feel tight around my waist to the point that when I was at my parents house last night I had to keep them open the whole time. I feel nauseous on and off. I'm extremely tired, its had to stay awake sometimes. My body just hurts. Is it too early to start having PG symptoms? Is this a side effect of the progesterone? I have no clue

It's totally normal after an IUI. I had the same thing happen and walked around w/ my pants completely unzipped for quite a while- though most people on here only have that reaction for a week if even.
Drink lots of gatorade/water (50/50 mix) and I would try to stay away from salty foods as they cause you to retain water. Also if you're not feeling much better by monday call your dr and see if he can see you for a sonogram---did they say how many follicles were mature?

I had a lot of the same symptoms as you and I noticed them all kicking in 5 days after the IUI. I just knew I was pregnant......I felt so "off". I was exhausted all day long, I was hungry all day long, and I had a lot of cramping throughout the day. I tested at 10DPO and got my BFP!! Lots of luck.......it sounds promising so far!!

I'm guessing you are PG....they symptoms seem right.

Side effects from progesterone can be the worst. It DEFINITELY makes you exhausted, you're probably making your own progesterone plus what you're getting from the supplements. Progesterone is a depressant so it makes you tired. I had the nausea thing on Wed big time, and on Thursday. Then yesterday it started again while I was eating dinner. I had a lot of bloating and gas last night too (sorry TMI). This is pretty similar to the way I felt last time I took progesterone, so I attribute it to that.
Being on progesterone basically makes you feel like you are pregnant. It majorly sux!

Thanks ladies for all of your responses. I don't remember feeling like this in December when I had the first IUI done. I was tired and gassy that I remember, but my jeans being tight around my waist definately wasn't happening. I'm also having some lower back aches. I had 1 mature follicle last Sunday, but DH's sample was a lot better for that IUI than the one in December, so I'm just keeping my fingers cross that this is it. I just hate feeling like this especially since DH is taking me out to dinner and a movie tonight to celebrate my birthday early, tomorrow's my birthday. Well I'll just be napping during the course of the day until we go out. Thanks again for all of your advice and I will keep you all updated.
