oh no!
I forgot to take my progesterone this morning! Is it going to be ok or should I try to go home from work early???
I took it at around 10pm last night, I'm supposed to take 2x a day. If I wait till I get home from work regular time, it will be about 6pm. What should I do??

What should I do if I forget a dose? Return to top
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

I did this once and called my Dr. since I couldn't find anything definitive.
They told me to take it as soon as I got home (around 7 p.m.) and then take it again before I went to bed.

So it should be ok? Missing one dose is not going to make my progesterone level drop so low that it would disrupt anything that might be happening in there, right?

After Gertyrae's post, maybe you should call the doctor. I remember reading about this yesterday online so I wanted to pass the info to you, but maybe the doctor's office would know best. Good luck!

I would just call the doctor to be on the safe side. I have missed before and they told me to do what Gerty did, but you don't know what your doctor would want you to do But don't worry!

OK I called the dr. office and the NP said it was not a problem, to just take my dose tonight and then continue as I have been.

What are you taking? Mine don't need to be in the fridge (I can't remember what I am using now for the life of me).

They are suppositories. They're like a cream/wax bullet type thingie. Is yours injectible?
