Lamaze class
I'm so disappointed I could cry. My 2/17 lamaze class was cancelled- not enough participants.
I am seriously so upset it's irrational.
She rescheduled for 3/2- I think that's way too late- especially considering her reaction when I told her my due date fo rthe 2/17 class. Now suddenly it's OK? 
Anyone delivering at St Charles that wants to take a lamaze class on 2/17???
Or anyone know of a different class?

thats weird...i took it through suffolk obgyn and there was alot of people. Check out st.charles website cause i remember getting a pamphlet in the mail that had classes and im pretty sure lamaze was listed....the women who does it a suffolk obgyn is a labor and delivery nurse at st.charles so maybe you can ask her if they have other ones at the hospital or just call the hospital. But even if you waited till march i wouldnt worry cause there were people in my class literally due the following week...i was surprised i took it the end of dec and ALOT of people were due by mid jan

same lady. I'm just angry, because when we spoke last, she was all shocked that I had waited so long, and she actually said- "Yes, you don't want to do it ANY later than this". Now suddenly 2 weeks later is OK? I feel like she's just trying to combine classes so she makes more money for less work. That's probably so cynical, but I generally don't trust people's intentions.

Plus, I agree, I don't think early March is too late for a class-- better than not taking it if it's something you want to do!

are you taking it with liz hammer? i thought she was awesome. I dont blame you i would feel the same way. I think that child alliance or something like that in smithtown offers lamaze also...i through out all my books i got but im sure someone on here knows what im talking about

OK cool- I left a message with St. Charles education department, to see if they had an earlier class- otherwise I guess I'm in for 3/2.
It's just all around bad timing for DH as well.
