Just got back from my 40 week sono

They checked the baby and my amniotic fluid levels. All looks good and the baby is weighing in at 8lbs, 7oz This is the 77th percentile which she said is not too big. I think it is HUGE!

The doctor said they still want to try and let nature take its course (even though I am miserable ). I have an appt for Monday morning which will make me 41 weeks and we will schedule an induction then.

I am so depressed. I am happy all is good with the baby but I am so tired of being pregnant. I am swollen everywhere and sore.

I know the feeling.

I had to wait 11 days past my due date before I met my little boy.

At the end you just don't want to be pregnant and haul your belly around anymore.

Oh honey it's almost over!!

Like you said, your baby is healthy and she will be here SOON!!!! You made it this far! Hang in there (even though I know it's easier said than done)

My DS was 10 days late so I know how it feels to just want to be done.

I am just going to stay focused on the positive that the baby looks healthy. Hopefully that will get me through.

The end is the worst At my sono they had said the DD was going to be 9lbs5oz and she turned out to be 8lbs7oz so there is room for error on the growth sonos! Hope that makes you feel a little better!

I know the feeling, At my 40 week appt (2 days before my due date) I had NO progress, not dialated at all! I cried in the office because I so wanted this baby to come.

My son measured 9lb 4 oz 2 days before his due date at the growth sono, but was born 10oz MORE. dont worry, your little one will be here before you know it and you will forget how miserable these last few days / weeks have been!
