shoprite secret
these stores try to TRICK us with flashing their coupons and then hoping we dont use them.
I once went into Shoprite and realized I had forgotten all the great coupons (on teh circluar that is mailed to us) (like Breyers for 88cents) etc. and this guy heard me mumble to myself 
and goes "the trick is you have to ask THE PHARMACY if they have (and they always do).
they wont display the circular withthe coupons at the store (A totally different one with NO coupons is available to you by the door).
so the "customer service" Doesnt have the coupons, you will get a "no sorry" from them.
just walk over two feet to the pharmacy and there's a STASH righ in plain sight  
It makes no sense. the whole point is the owner doesnt want anyone using them.

the sales with the card, are totally different than the coupons in the paper. (in my store).

She's right.
The two she is talking about are independently owned Shoprite's. Greenfield's Shoprite does things a bit differently and usually in the customer's advantage.
Different ownership and management than the other Shoprites. Greenfield just uses them as his supplier.
Years ago he was affiliated with Foodtown but then they left LI.

yeah, I'm sure. The circular I get in the mail or with my paper doesn't have cut out coupons. You have to have the card to get the discounts though.
I can use manufacturer coupons.
Also, no pharmacy...which sometimes stinks.

Yes, this one is independently owned.
The owner is quite a professional she's heard all over the store in her "truck driver" tone  ripping apart her poor employees.
I had NO idea she was the owner.
What a shame. Ive seen too many of them talked down to for no reason.  and she once told off a customer, when the customer was totally right.
