Question regarding maternity leave...
Has anyone started their leave a week early? I am seriously thinking about doing that because it has gotten to a point where I just can't take it anymore.

I dont know how Im going to make it the last month let alone the last week!!! Do you have any vacation time or sick days left you can take before you leave?

I started my maternity leave 2 weeks before my due date. I worked in the city and my doctor made me stop at 38 weeks because of the commute.

I'm hoping to work up to the end, but if I start getting uncomfortable, then I might start using my vacation/sick time.

I started my maternity leave today - I was due on Monday. I wanted to go as long as possible before the baby came but at this point I am tired and swollen and just can't do it anymore. I was informed by my disability carrier that you can start leave up to 2 weeks before your due date. That could just be my policy though.

Im actually going out at 25 weeks, doctors orders. It is a little earlier than I would of liked but when I heard about all the risk of PTL, it makes sense.

I planned on leaving 2 weeks early, but DS came 2 1/2 weeks early, so I didn't have a choice anyway

My last week of work I will be 34 weeks and I am barely making that...!! I am on my feet all day and I honestly cannot take it anymore!
