so much pain
I am so uncomfortable right now and have been for the past 10hrs. I had to go to the hospital because I am having trouble breathing. My RE met me there. They took blood and did some other tests. I can't lay down, I can only stand or sit. I am miserable. I am in so much pain. My RE was worried maybe it was blood from the procedure, but it turns out it's not. They also said it's not ohss, it's too early for that. I went from having a flat stomach to looking 4 months pregnant. They said it is just swollen ovaries and fluid from the procedure. I expected some bloating, but this is definitely not what I expected. I really hope this goes away soon, I am so exhausted and can't lie down to sleep. I am sorry for the 2am rant, but i don't know what else to do.

I know exactly how you feel...it's extremely uncomfortable. Try to stay off your feet as much as possible and drink lots of fluids...your ovaries are sucking up the fluid in your body and you need to replace it.

hope you're feeling better soon. when i had that happen to me i got told by a lot of people on here to drink a 50/50 mix of water and gatorade. hope that helps. also, see if you can prop yourself upright some with pillows- it may help with sleeping.

I had the EXACT same thing. I just spoke to the nurse for the 100th time about it yesterday and she said that once the HCG is in system for 7 days you should see a relief of symptoms (and symptoms might actually peak on 7th day) and she was right. Sunday had to be the worst ever. If I tried to lay down I would get short of breath and any movement would make it feel as if something was twisting inside. She said its because I had so many eggs too that things are really sore inside. My belly is still really distended but thankfully I am beginning to feel just a bit better. hang in there, it will go away!!!!!

Oh I feel your pain. It will get better soon, just make sure you are closely watching your weight and if you start gaining very quickly you go right back to the hospital

I actually had that as well and they told me it was possible that it was gas 
They had me walk around a lot. Did you call and ask them anything?

thank you all so much. I am just trying to get some sleep sitting up on the couch. I am not a big complainer and most of the procedures I have had done haven't hurt at all, but this one kicked my a**. I am sure I will get better as the days go on.

It really does kick your a**...just make sure you keep checking in with your Dr., get plenty of fluids and rest.
It takes 7 - 10 days for the HCG to leave your system and you should start feeling better by then (unless they do the transfer and you get PG)
