My computer has been running fine.

Up until a week ago. I have windows xp..and now every time I go to open a new window, it hangs up. It takes about 3 minutes to open. Once the window opens, I can go from site to site with no problem. But if there is a link in the site that needs to open a new window, it does the same thing. It seems like everything is hanging up because when I go to close the window, it does that thing where it closes half way and then freezes. I then have to do a alt, control, delete to close the windows and start again.

Does anyone know what this can be? I ran all scans, found no viruses. Cleaned out the temp. internet files, cookies, etc. Its still doing it. ANyone??? Its driving me nuts!!
