Starting again...
So my lovely break is coming to an end tomorrow...going in for b/w, sono and a Provera prescription. It's been 45 days since AF showed last, since I've been to the doctor, taken meds, anything. I really enjoyed myself, I lost 5 pounds and I felt really good being free of all of that. I am scared to death of starting again.
I spent a lot of time over the past 6 weeks thinking about it all and while part of me is ready and I know that deep down this is what I want, part of me is dreading getting back into it. I just wish it was easier. I don't know how much more I can really do...DH wants to do at least 2 more injectible/IUI cycles before IVF but I'm not sure if I have it in me. Maybe we should just suck it up, spend the money and do IVF which will give us so much more of a chance.
Sorry having a little pity party today...good luck to all of us.

Re: Starting again...
Carolyn- I'll be starting right back up w/ you!!! I am feeling the same way you are. The hour plus drives to the dr each way plus all of the bloodwork and monitoring isn't something that I'm looking forward to--- but the potential positive outcome is! I'm on CD41 and will be calling the dr first thing tomorrow morning to go in and get back on track. We can compare notes!!!

Best of luck to you with whatever you decide to do. I understand how tough it is to continually start over and over again.

Re: Starting again...
I was in your shoes a few months ago, the thought of doing another IUI for dismal results was not something I wanted to wrap my head around. So we opted to make the move and jump into IVF as I just wanted the process over as fast as possible. For us, the cost of continuing with IUI's plus meds and the drive back and forth was going to bleed us before we even got to IVF. Right now I can tell you it was the best decision we made. You have to do what is right for you. Maybe call your RE and ask for a consult about IVF to get the ball moving. You will probably not be able to do IVF this cycle anyway so you can do one more IUI and really weigh your options
