And in this corner... we have my supermom
So mom gave in and told MIL about her shower plans. It had to be done- it would have been totally wrong to not include her at all (although a relief to many)..
So MIL of course tried to throw $%#* into the game when my mom told her the date and the place. She wanted it at a more $$ restaurant, change the date, yadda yadda yadda. But my mom had already put her deposit down and ordered invites. Plus that's really the only weekend that I can come down to NY since we were told to stay 'local' 6-8 weeks before our due date.
My mom is a junkyard dog! She didn't let up on any of the pressure MIL put on her to change this and that. She told her pretty much that this is when and where and I'll send you X ammount of invites so you can include who you want and I'll pay for them.. Mom- You rule!
So MIL is now in charge of 'decorations'. I will  if I walk in and there is a big white wicker chair there in the center of the room!
