Level I level II -
Who, what, where & when?
I am clueless. I'm 11 weeks, so I'm learning all this stuff little by little.

Re: Level I level II -
Ultrascreen is at 12 weeks It checks for Down Syndrome, etc
Level 20 is at 20 weeks. Find out sex and make sure baby is developing well

Isn't an ultrascreen a regular sonogram? How are they able to test for DS just from that?

I think they measure the folds on the neck and stuff like that at the Ultrascreen.

Re: Level I level II -
measurements of the skull test for DS, along with a finger prick blood test.

Re: Level I level II -
Mine was different. I never had an ultrascreen. I was offered an optional blood test to test for DS and Spina Bifida at 12 weeks and didn't do it. Then at 19 weeks they offered again and I did it.
I had a Level I, not Level II. My hospital only does Level II for high risk or older mothers. They told me the difference was a few more images. My Level I was 1.5 hours and they took pictures of everything - I can't imagine anything they missed.
