FURNITURE: Changing station top
I've notice quite a few companies don't have a buffer zone (I don't know what else to call it -- see picture #1, (picture from livy820's changing station) where you put the baby, so the baby don't move).
Mine doesn't come with that. Is this something I could buy and attach to my changing station? Where can I get one like that?
Or would a contour pad -- see picture #2 would work just as good? Image Attachment(s):

I think a contour pad is fine...it straps down to the furniture & keeps baby "safe." Also it allows you better use of the furniture after the diaper stage.

ITA. contour pads are more than enough. it's not like you're going to leave the baby up there to sleep, kwim? I actually prefer no changing top. my DS has a combo dresser, but for #2 we just got a regular dresser.
