Shoe Dilemma

So DH and I are thinking of going out to a nice dinner/dancing thing for V-day and I have a pretty emerald green satin dress. My dilemma - What shoes can I wear? I am as tall as DH so if we're dancing I'd feel silly being so much taller... so i was thinking some pretty, fancy flats. Anyone have any idea where I can start looking? And also, black or neutral? AH! And relatively, inexpensive. Am I dreaming - or do these exist!

I would go for a kitten heel rather than flats (that's just what I'd prefer, even if it meant being slightly taller than DH). And I like silver with green. So something like this:



I was looking for something strappier, but I have people constantly walking by my office so I was rushed! Grrrr!

Steve Madden has a ton. I think they are soo popular now that you can find them anywhere.. also check out wet seal, charlotte russe and even payless.

How about a pair of silver or gold?

i was just in bakers this weekend - ton of shoes to wear - all different heel sizes.
