A chance to do something that can make a real difference
making even the smallest donation here could help people in more ways that one
this is the outreach center I called for one of our fellow posters.
The people working there were kind and helpful and geniunely care.
They are DESPERATE for funding now...it not only effects the lives of the women and children they are literally SAVING...it's also effecting the livelihood of those wonderful people who WORK there...who spend their days helping those that are at their most vulnerable...at their biggest time of need.
I know none of us are made of money. But maybe you could forgo a few days worth of Starbucks to throw some much needed cash their way.
this board has shown itself time and time again to be kind and generous to those posters in need....here is an opportunity to be kind to the posters who' story you don't know...who's pain you can't see or read about it.
but it's very real.
and we can help.

I just called and donated $50.
it may not be much...and I hope to do more in the future.
but if you call they will gladly take your donation over the phone. It was literally 2 minutes.

yes, I do.
but that post isn't open for dialogue/discussion.
and it's been there for a while...so you can't really bump it to generate interest again.
and I think it's important enough to me to post about it on a personal level.
