I have bronchitis :(

I am a little upset. I had an ob appt. yesterday and I told her I wasn't feeling good. She told me to see my regular doctor. Since this was after 5 he wasnt' there so I went to him today. Now I have bronchitis and am on a z pac. He also told me to take sudafed but I saw some old posts on here and now I am nervous so I don't think I am going to take that! I am just really annoyed that the ob couldn't prescribe something yesterday!

I had bronchitis SOOO bad last week that it started to turn into pneumonia! My OB told me the same thing to get to my regular practioner to get Zithromax.

Get yourself a humidifier- it SAVED me. That and tylenol for sinus pain. I would stay away from the sudafed. My OB said "ANY tylenol product is OK" but I have some thyroid issues and I can't take alot of the decongestant drugs.

I hope you feel better soon!! The Z-pack should start working in the first couple of days.

Thanks, DH uses a humidifier every night to sleep so it is in there already! I will stay away from the sudafed then definitely. I just was so nervous this morning b/c I woke up choking and couldn't catch my breath for a few minutes!

I had it 2 weeks ago as well and it was sooo bad!! My primarry Dr. put me on Z-pack aslo and it worked really well! I used the Vick's Vapor cream and lived on honey lemon halls!! Feel better!!

I've had it and it's awful. Take the Z pack and yes you can take the regular sudafed (the little red pill). Just the regular one.

Don't worry... it is awful right now, but it will pass.

I was really sick last week and its still lingering I took sudafed the little red pill twice. Feel beeter!
