sell in bulk to people who don't have resale permit/business license? If so, what companies?

I'm looking to buy something in bulk to resell for a profit. I'm keeping my options open as to what type of product. I know a lot of people do it, it's just a matter of getting started.

I'm looking to buy something in bulk to resell for a profit. I'm keeping my options open as to what type of product. I know a lot of people do it, it's just a matter of getting started.
I know someone who has a consignment type agreement with the undeebandz (sp) supplier. They make all the they dye stuff that is popular with kids/young teens. They have a warehouse in the industrial area in deer park and she picks things up on a monthly basis and gets credit for whatever she can't sell. They seem pretty open to this type of arrangement and I'm sure other suppliers/distributor's would do this.
