I had a surprise glucose test this am!
So, yesterday at work I felt nauseous and then shaky and weak. The school nurse (im a teacher) came up to my room and took my BP which was normal. Then I went down to her office and she took my temp...normal. Checked my pee for key tones...normal. But she wanted me to call my doctor just to see what they wanted me to do. They said they would send a prescription to the lab for me to get bloodwork done. I went this morning and I ended up getting my glucose test! Good thing I fasted for 12 hrs! It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. There were so many preggos doing the same test this morning too! The time went quickly since we were chatting a bit and then I found a People mag Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that I don't have to go back for the 3 hr test!!!

I do feel better thanks! I actually felt better yesterday afternoon too but took it easy and relaxed anyway just to be sure.

Question #1 how in heck did you do that????? I can't go more than a few hours w/o eating!
Question #2 was that actually something that you found out later that you had to do? my doc didn't have me fast for the 1 hour.
