HELP- need shower locations!!
So my mom and I are driving to LI next weekend and she wanted to scope out a few places to have my shower. She's thinking chinese restaurant but I don't know how many people they can accomodate..
We'll probably have 50 people and she'd like to stay below $25 per person..
Any ideas?? Thanks!!

Dunno how much it is, but mine has been booked at Ciao Baby in Carle Place.
I had my bridal shower at Don Ricardos (mexican) in Babylon....LOVED it!!

Mine was at Villa Monaco in W Islip. I had no involvement in it but I'd have to believe it was about the $25pp you're looking for and it was great!
Davenport press in Mineola also does a nice shower for around that price as does Sole in Oceanside, though it's a bit tight in there.

Mine was at the Irish Coffee Pub in E. Islip. It was awesome! They have different size rooms depending on how many people you have.

My rehearsal dinner was there and the food and atmosphere was outstanding!!
I don't know prices bc IL's paid but if it is within your range, I would definitely consider it!

Mine was at the Beachtree in East Islip and I believe it was around $25 a person. It was nice and we had the room upstairs which was a private room.

I checked out Bertucci's for DS's christening. It ranges from 13.95-23.95 a head. My friend had both her kids there and LOVED It!

56th Fighter Squad - Farmingdale (where we met up that day). Prices are very good and they have a nice room for private parties.
Per 'Un Angelo - Wantagh (that's where my shower will be)
Wantagh Inn - Wantagh (had my bridal shower there)
Hudson's Mill - Massapequa
Captain Bill's - Bay Shore (beautiful - not sure of the prices though)
H.R. Singleton's - Bethpage
Maine Maid Inn - Jericho
Milleridge Inn - Jericho
Pomodorino - Seaford

My mom booked mine at the Bonwit Inn in Commack and I believe it was in that price range.
ETA: I second the vote for Pomodorino's. They have several locations on Long Island their prices are reasonable. We're thinking of having our baby's christening there.

my bridal shower was at Gasho of Japan in Hauppauge... im not sure how much pp but, i think it can accomodate that many people, and might go along with the asian-type food your mom wants... they did a nice job...

We just had my sister's shower at The Library in Farmingdale. It would be way too small for you. She had 36 ppl and it was too crowded and cramped.
But how about the Bulldog in Amityville. I haven't been there for parties, but they have the same owners and the Bulldog can accomodate more.
Also, look into the Argyle in Babylon. Their price was about $25pp (not sure exactly) but if you guarantee 50 people, you get the back room to yourself.
Here are a few of the prices I was quoted:
The Irish Coffee Pub
Room sits 30-55 people, available for lunch or brunch, Lunch: $30pp + tax & gratuity; Brunch $32pp
$200 Deposit
Nocello’s
Saturday – table service, Sunday – buffet, same price $19.95 pp ++

Sit down service $21.95 plus $6pp for unlimited soda & champagne punch

30 adults minimum guarantee, Waterview Room
