Can you take Mylanta for heartburn??
Tums are just not working for me anymore so I need something else....I dont remember if the dr said that I can take that or not??

YEs! My doc ok'd the Mylanta Supreme.
Tums dont' do a damn thing for me! I was also ok'd with both pg's Zantac for heartburn, but ask your doc first before taking anything

how far along are u?
You can take Mylanta. My weapon of choice was always Maalox....until the 3rd trim when the heartburn became intertwined with reflux and preventing me from sleeping. Now I rely on Zantac at night. What a RELIEF.
If you're still early, I'd stick with the Mylanta for now. I'd hold out on Zantac until it's absolutely necessary.

Im 37wks 2days. So I will try mylanta for now and then speak to my dr at my appt on monday.
