Computer pointing device

What type of pointing device is on the computer you are typing on right now?
If you have multiple, just pick the one the one you use/like more.

You can comment on what type you have on other machines, what type you prefer, or what type you've used over the years.

Right now, my desktops have standard mice. DS's PC has two mice. One is standard size, and one is a laptop mouse, so it fits his hand better.

My laptops have touchpads and "eraser heads" between the G and H keys.

I used to have a few trackballs. Had a tablet for a while.

Re: Computer pointing device

I have a touchpad, and HATED it at first. Now if I use a mouse I can't function.

At work, I use a mouse with a rollerball ( I had to turn it over to check Chat Icon ). At home, we use optical wireless mice.

Right now I'm on a deskop witha standard mouse. At work I have optical. On my laptop, it's a tuchpad, but no eraser head. I prefer the optical, I think.

Re: Computer pointing device

I like the Optical Mouse with my laptop.

I have the touchpad, but I don't like it 'cause my fingers don't work well with it.

Re: Computer pointing device

I'm at work so right now I'm using an optical mouse. At home I have a laptop and I use the touch pad. I originally got a wireless mouse for the laptop when I first bought it because I didnt think I could adjust to the touchpad, but now the mouse is to much of a hassle.
