So I am starting to do bottle research, and I am curious to find out who likes what best and why.

Dr. Brown's Natural Flow
Avent

Re: Which bottles...

I am starting out with Evenflo glass and BPA free Gerbers.

If she doesn't like those then I will try the Born Free's.

Re: Which bottles...

Cher,

I registered for the Born Free Bottles and the Playtex Drop Ins Nurser Gift Set (if the BF things works out).

I've heard several people swear by Dr. Browns, although they are hard to clean.

I think I am going to try the Avent Tempo (drop ins) because I plan on BF! And it seems that these are Avent bottles are a good companion for BF.

Re: Which bottles...

i swear by dr. brown's. we used avent for the longest time and never made the connection between the bottle and ds' gas (he is breastfed so we didn't use bottles all that often). then one day it dawned on us and we tried a few different kinds - born free, drop-ins, and dr. browns.

the dr. browns took the has COMPLETELY away.

the parts are a pain to clean, but if you get the dishwasher tray for them (like $6) it's much easier.

they come in glass too - BPA free!

Re: Which bottles...

I registered for Born Free and Dropins and will see what work best. If gas seems to be a problem, I will sacrifice the BPA-free for Dr Browns. Kelly swore by Dr. Browns but I hear they are a PITA to clean, so I only want to use them if DD needs them. Plus, I don't want glass and I would prefer bPA free.

Re: Which bottles...

With DS we started with the Avent bottles, but they leaked all the time. Chat Icon Not good with a new born wanting his food! So we switched to Dr. Brown's. DS never really had any gas issues and since they were a PITA to clean, especially since we don't have a dishwasher, we went back to the Avent (After trying multiple bottles). Now, I swear by the Avent. Once we learned that you can't tighten them to much (or else they leak) we were good.

So, for the this baby we will be using Avent again.

Re: Which bottles...

I registered for Evenflo glass bottles because they were well reviewed on BRU.com and Iwanted to try glass bottles. They are much cheaper than the Born free. I also registered for Playtex drop ins because they are supposed to be super convenient and good for gas. We'll see how it goes!

Re: Which bottles...

We registered for avent bottles too. I've only heard good things about them and the associate who I worked with at BRU said that they were the best for feeding pumped breast milk..

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Michelob Ultra was my bottle of choice.

This is a tough topic. I plan on BFing and people have suggested I don't register for a pump until I know BFing is definitely for me.

With that said I don't have a clue which bottle I would need if I am pumping.
