Tendinitis?

does anyone have it? i am in a brace for my knee and have no idea how i hurt myself. what do you do for it? what helps it? i have no idea what to do i was told to keep moist heat on it and to take the anti flamitory(sp) for it. TIA

Ugh, I get it in the wrist all the time. Worst pain ever!!

I usually just wear a brace, and put ice on for 10 minutes off for 20 to lower the swelling.

Within 2 days it's usually back to normal.

Last time it flared up I was pg so they wouldn't let me take anything!!

I haven't had it in a while but I used to get it very badly in my shoulder. I would take anti inflammatory. Once it was so bad I got a cortizone shot. What relief.

thanks guys... with my new insurance the meds they gave me i have tro wait for it to be pre approved alieve has been my new best friend for now. i have the brace and also have been using warm moist heat to help but it's not really helping all that much it does not help at work having to stand all day

i get in my shoulder.....right shoulder. it is from playig softball and all the long throws from the outfield! Pain comes and goes....depends on how much i used my arm. Weather bothers me sometimes...I usually take a HOT shower then when I am sitting on the couch I like to ice it.
