Need cheesy/corny/cutsie ideas for a 30th birthday

Female...can't spend more than $50....looking for a cute birthday gift!

She doesn't really drink, prefers staying home to going out (no restaurant gcs), has her MIL staying with her for the next few months and won't leave her alone at home (eek), is on a diet, and dresses super-casually every day (no real accessories...sweats/sneakers).

I want to make it a special one, but I'm pretty stumped.

what about a mani/pedi or a spa type thing--- to get her away from her MIL for a little bit!

I read the title and thought you said you wanted a cheesy corny cruise! I actually had one I was going to suggest!

But since you don't want a cruise, does she have any favorite tv shows that you could buy on dvd for her? Does she listen to music? An itunes gift card? Maybe something nice for the home, like a picture frame. Umbra has some nice styles. Is she a reader? Barnes and noble gift card.
