How weird....

DH and I found out last night that we are not the only ones preggo in his family. His aunt and uncle are now expecting too. They are 40+ and we are 20+ years old.

While it is awesome that she is preggo, it is so weird knowing that his AUNT is preggo at the same time.

There is NO generation gap in his family - as a matter of fact, you can call it an overlap

I guess it could feel strange but so many families have generation overlaps. FIL was married once before he married MIL. He has a daughter from that marriage that is 24 years older than DH and she has children and grandchildren. So, our baby is already an aunt/uncle to 4 (the youngest is graduating college) and a great aunt/great uncle to 11!!! We don't see them often at all but it is strange to think about!
