Friendship
Do you think it is possible for 3 female friends to be EQUALLY close with one another?
Or do you think that 2 of the friends will be a bit "tighter" or have a stronger bond~ regardless of how much they love the 3rd girl and appreciate her friendship?

Two times in my life I was part of a triplet friendship. Both times, I did feel like it waxed and waned. Sometimes I felt like I was closer to one friend than the other, and sometimes I felt like the two friends were closer to each other than to me. I don't think it's equal all the time, but I think it evens out, if that makes sense.

i agree.
i've been there before - and when i became friends with the first person and then another friend was intro'd - i was like "well, it's just a matter of time" haha knowing that one person is always going to get jealous and sure enough - it just didn't work. i was never the jealous one - b/c i'm secure - but yeah, it's hard for that to work - but i guess it can be possible for some.

NO...When I was in college I was very close with two girls...I actually was friends with each of them independently at first then we pledged our sorority . There was always an odd man out. Now they are best friends and I am not speaking to either one

I'm the odd man out with most of DH's friends' wives. My female friends are scattered all over LI and FL so none of them or I am the odd man out. I hope this makes sense.

hmm...
well in HS i was clsoe with two girls, they were closer with each other, so in that instance i would say yes.
right now i am good friend with two girls, i am close with one, and that girl is close with the third girl, and although the third girl and i are good friends, we're not as close as i am with the first or as close as she is with the first.
hope that made sense
so i guess that i believe in most instances it is possible to be equally close, but not likely.

i think it's possible to be friends, and while with everything there are exceptions here and there, i think it is highly unlikely that all three would be equally as close with each.
i was part of a three person BF group of girls in hs. i was definitely closer to one girl than the other was to either of us. It stayed that way for quite some time - and then at some piont in college or post-college (i can't remember which) the two of them became closer.
years later - i don't speak to either. i assume they are still close.

I have a circle of two other friends who live in Philly with me. We are tremendously close, but in different ways with one another. BUt, I wouldn't say that anyone's friendship with the other is deeper - it's pretty much equal.

It depends
For the most part, it depends on who sees who more. I think friendships can wax and wane at times and sometimes I am closer with others than at other times. I also know though, that if I ever needed any of my girlfriends, they would be there in a hearbeat. They also know this about me.
