Re: spinoff to feeling good
Well... I'm only 9 weeks, so no kicking yet, but I cant wait for that!
I absolutely love the way my skin looks. Seriously, I am glowing.
I'm loving the way that me being pregnant brings sheer joy to my mother & sister. Its amazing.
I'm loving that I am having an awesome pregnancy so far. The morning sickness isn't as bad as I expected - total shocker!!!
I actually love the attention Im getting anf all the excitement of my friends & family.
The anticipation of my baby arriving- EVERYTHING between helping my mom plan my shower, checking out Babies R Us to preview what I would love to register for.. Deciding on baby names.
The first time we saw the babies heartbeat on the sonogram. It was such an amazing experience.

Re: spinoff to feeling good
DH talking to the belly
People bending over backwards for me
Hearing people tell me I have the "glow"
Baby planning
Things I am most looking forward to: feeling the baby move finding out the sex holding baby for the first time (although that's really post pregnancy, but still something I am eagerly anticipating).

Re: spinoff to feeling good
After you mentioned your balanced hormones in yesterday's post it dawned on me that I've experienced the same thing. Although I can't say that I enjoy being pregnant or that I like feeling like a whale, I have been extremely even tempered throughout the whole thing. I've been very sweet and affectionate toward DH and haven't really let a lot of things bother me too much. So I think that's the best part for me.

DH spoke directly to Max last night for the first time. It made my heart skip a beat. Of course, he was telling him to go back to sleep bc I pointed out that he must also like cameltoe, since he kicked while I was talking about it. But we were talking about teh cameltoe on a fat lady's bunt, so DH didn't approve.
You warm my heart.
The cockles?
Maybe below the cockles. Maybe in the sub-cockle area. Maybe in the liver. Maybe in the kidneys. Maybe even in the colon. Nobody knows. .....didn't think I'd get that reference, did ya? Yeaaaaaaaaaah baby!

Re: spinoff to feeling good
The emotional part of it (kicking, moving, feeling life, & watching belly grow) is everything that I have ever thought it would be and then some.
BUT this is what I get out of it that i love and will miss.
I love the fact that I can have dessert after dinner and not feel guilty about it. When I am not pg, I can't afford to do that. If I even look at cake I gain 5 lbs.
I love being able to eat carbs and not worry about my stomach bloating. I love not "having fat days"
So after this pg is over, it's back to watching everything I put in my mouth. It's back to jail!!! LOL but so fun while it lasted!!!!

Ditto to this one. I wasn't expecting this reaction from him!
Also, My skin has finally calmed down and is looking pretty good Feeling the baby move Watching DH kiss my belly goodnight and tell the baby "Daddy loves you" Feeling no guilt laying on the couch while DH makes dinner and does the dishes The excitement my sister & I feel being pregnant together

Re: spinoff to feeling good
My favorite thing about being pregnant is feeling him move around.
My hair is definitely growing better too...love that.
Then there's just the fact that I "AM" going to be a mom. I'm not married and didn't plan on having kids without being married so I wasn't sure if I would get the chance to have any.

Re: spinoff to feeling good
I am not loving the way I look - I am in the inbetween stage of showing but no "pop" and my skin and hair are weird.
BUT...
I am so happy to be pregnant and I love the fact that my DH is more excited than me to be a parent. He is over the moon and is obsessed with the belly.

Re: spinoff to feeling good
I how DH is reacting to my ever expanding belly. He kisses it and talks to it. He's even now singing to it ever since we realized that he moves a TON when we play music loudly in the car.
Feeling thump around in there is just amazing. Especially in the morning before I get out of bed and he's bumpin' around in there. It's like he's challenging me, "So are you GONNA get up? Because I could kick this bladder all day!".
My mother who rubs my belly and talks to it for a good 5 minutes every time she sees me. Her reactions to feeling him move are priceless. Her whole body lights up.
