I never thought I'd say this, but........
I REALLY wish my husband would STOP doing laundry I come home EVERYDAY to a pile of it on the bed. I don't even know where he finds the clothes to wash everyday! We're only three people! But nevertheless, there's always a mound awaiting me after work. I completely understand that running around after a 19 month old all day means he can't fold it, but could he take a day off? Sheesh! Mark this day down on the calendar. "Crazy woman complains about man sent from heaven"

LMAO!
I understand where you are coming from though with the "doing it every freaking day" - Can he make a day or have two days a week that are set "laundry" days?? Otherwise, he's gonna be doing it DAILY and that's annoying as hell lol for you AND him!

Re: I never thought I'd say this, but........
Actually, that would make me crazy. I would appreciate that he did the laundry, but I would hate to come home to a pile of clothes on the bed. Plus, I like to fold laundry as soon as it comes out of the dryer. So I would just rather do it myself.

Yeah, see...that's what MY husband calls "doing laundry" too. He puts the clothes in the machines, the machines do what they need to do, he takes the clothes out....and DONE!
Um...the whole "DOING LAUNDRY" thing means you DO something. Try folding them and putting them away like I do.
I tell him, if he's gonna do half a job, don't do it at all. I got it, big boy!

If he was really doing the laundry, he'd fold that pile too.

I see his strategy for getting out of ever being asked to do laundry was successful This is a common strategy with all kinds of chores - do it bad enough to be banished from doing it.

The mound would be annoying I agree, however well intentioned he is with doing the laundry. It sort of forces you to have to do laundry that day as well. We all know the easy part is putting it in the machines - it's the follow through of folding it and putting it away that is the part that sux.

I would do laundry every day if I could. We cannot do it everyday because of a stage 4 drought.

Re: I never thought I'd say this, but........
I have this argument with my husband, he will wash and dry the clothes then throw them on the bed, that is not doing the laundry! Doing the laundry would be from beginning to end not just stopping in the middle

My DH is the same way, I always come down stairs to a pile of clothes to fold every day, I'm like where do all these clothes come from--lol I'm happy that he loves to do it, but I hate folding--lol

Re: I never thought I'd say this, but........
I have the same DH as you. I love him dearly for it- but Jesus Christ man, why do you have to do laundry and then leave it in the dryer for a week then when you need the dryer- why do you have to throw it all on the couch that I sit on so I have no choice but to fold it??

Folding is the WORST part!
