Not when I signed up. I only have a 1 year contract. I don't know if the deal changed though. Because the deal I signed up under ended 12/15.

how much extra do you have to pay for HD service from Verizon?
Here's the weird thing... I have 2 set top boxes, one for our regular tv which is not HD and the other HD set top box. Which is currently connected to nothing because I don't have my free tv yet.
I have my first bill in front of me and the regular set top box is $4.99. The HD box is $9.99.
The way Cablevision touts "We don't charge you extra for HD!!!", you would think there would be more charges. But I don't see them on my bill.
