PSA: Don't use old appliances
You know when you have that blender that's really old and starting to strain...throw it out..do not use it to make a breakfast smoothie...the blender may catch fire!

I hadn't even added the ice yet, it was all soft ingredients, just fruit and tofu. Yikes.
I thought it might just die on me one day. Had no idea it woul go on fire..I saw orange flashes from underneath and los of smoke. AHHHH.
My smoothie's pretty good, but I couldn't add the ice!
Any recs on a good blender?
