Update on me 1/14

So I went to the dr today. Only $225 w/o insurance to see the dr for 5 mins and get a 1 min sono. What a steal compared to the almost $500 it should have been-- but way too much compared to my $20 copay which I am terribly missing now.

Anyway, MY dr wasn't there again but the other dr was. He said my ovaries are still somewhat enlarged but nothing compared to what they had been 2 weeks ago when I was there last. He also saw the cysts still but they were also much smaller.
He wanted me to go and get a beta test, which confused me b/c DH and I haven't BDd since I got AF on Christmas AT ALL... so there's no shot of my being PG that I'm aware of. He also wanted me to get progesterone and estrodial. I explained to him that I had no insurance at the moment and would prefer to wait but when I went to leave he still gave me the prescription. I called Quest and they said it would be about $400 for those 3 tests, which I just can't afford so I called the Dr back. He told me to hold off until he spoke to my dr and then called me back to tell me to hold off until 2/1 and we'll see if AF comes before then.
Then I called back and got patched thru to MY dr b/c I didn't feel satisfied w/ my conversation w/ the other dr.
He's out of town but he called me back and we spoke and he said to give it 7-10 days to see if AF comes and if not to take a HPT. Then he'd still send me for 1 or both of the other tests, but at least it would be a little less expensive. And the best part, DH and I are allowed to BD again!!! I'm so excited!!! The dr said it "should" be ok- but I'm taking that as an ok- otherwise I don't think he would've put it out there. Anyway, that's all for my report for now!

ETA: I'm on CD21. The dr saw some medium size follicles and a bunch of small on my right ovary and just small ones on my left ovary again, like last time. I don't know if I O'd yet because I haven't been checking!! Do you think there's a chance I haven't yet? DH and I are going to BD either today or tomorrow- so do you think there's a possibility of catching it this month? My cycles are totally irregular so I don't know what to think. I'll have to take an ovulation test tomorrow and see what it shows... only time will tell.

You can also pick up the Answer OPK. It has a lot of strips for the money. A little chance is better than no chance and I say "so for it."
