is it just me -or does this not make much sense

just got my weekly "bragging" call from my brother (you know the kind)

turns out my sister in law- resigned from her job b/c her company can't make payroll b/c so many builders in FL (where they live) have gone under and/or can't pay their bills

so I ask what kind of job she is going to look for


and he says with a builder

is it just me????

but of course my brother is doing so well in the mortgage biz- that he has nothing to worry about

There has to be builders that are doing the work, just not the one where she left from. It does make sense to me.

she worked for a marketing company

not a builder

more then one builder has gone under in FL - multiple ones

with my brother job tied to that industry - seems like a risk to me

I misunderstood your OP then. I thought you were saying she worked for a builder and was looking for another. I didn't get that your brother did because you said his mortgages were going well.
