Spinoff to Car Seat Inspection?
Do we really need to have it inspected? If DH installes it himself with no issues, how important is it to get it inspected. So many of the places I call are not able to do it for weeks and Im due before then..

No need to get it inspected except for piece of mind. We went to a guy right on 109 in Farmingdale/Lindenhurst, we were in/out in 5 minutes. We didn't even call first.

I would for piece of mind. I read somewhere that 4 out of 5 are installed wrong.

I had mine checked. I liked to have it check. It was installed properly but was not tight enough. We had the convertible car seat checked in the other car. I think he changed EVERYTHING we did.
I went to "Chris" in Mineola.

what other places does the carseat checks or install. i had mine check in nc at the firestations
