about how long does it take your cleaning girl?
we have 3bedrooms, 1bath, kitchen, livingroom, and dining room. how long should i expect her to stay?

My cleaning lady takes about 3-4 hours depending on what was going on in my house that week.

I have a large house, she comes every other week. We basically only live in 3 or 4 of the rooms in the house and we are not that messy. Having said that however, she's usually at our house about 4 hours on average.

It also depends if they come alone or have others working with / for them.

3-4 hours and she works the whole time without a break, by her choice. She could probably do it in 3 hours if not for the dog hair. Our house stays pretty clean if not for that. We only have 1 small short haired dog but I can't figure out how his hair gets where it does!!

My lady is here for about 1 1/2-2 hours. Sometimes she brings help so she is done quicker.

Wow, those are some short amount of times....
Growing up I had a cleaning lady and she would get to the house at like 7am and not leave till like 3pm, my parents have a big house but I think staying for that long really gets the job done.
My aunts house keeper comes at like 8am and doesn't leave till like 5pm...lol

Well, sometimes my girl is here for up to 5 hours but honestly, I think it's the fact that she is such a work horse. The woman does not stop for 2 seconds!!!!!!! I chat with her a little before she leaves but I am not counting that time. Also, we don't leave any straightening up for her, except that I like for her to make my bed. There are some things that I do myself in between her visits, but I do less and less lately  .

Same thing..I have a rather large home but DH and I only really live in a few rooms since we have no kids yet. So most of the rooms in my house are never even used. My cleaning lady will sometimes do extra stuff (like organize my hall closets, or clean my garage..such as sweeping, organizing, etc). Last time she was here, she was here for about 6 hours.
