How painful can growing pains be?

I just had the worst pain (kind of like a stretching pain) on the lower left hand side of my belly, it was pretty painful and lasted for about a good 15 seconds and has gone away completely.

Could this be a sign of growing pains?

In addition to that my little one is doing tumble salts in there

I am about 16 weeks and having some really painful growing pains too.

I actually asked a co-worker if it is normal to have pain and she told me that hers were pretty painful too.

I was driving today and it was difficult to get a good breath in. Mine seem to last for a while (or at least it feels like a while) and then it disappears.

I don't know if it is more painful to me because I am petite or because I have a low tolerance for pain.

I had a lot of pain from the round ligament.

I too had this and dont anymore. 31.5 weeks. Are you taking calcium/magnesium supplements? Soposed to be very helpful

I would definately say yes. With my first pregnancy I had pains so badly one day it hurt to walk, sit and stand!
