No, not trendy at all. In fact if you asked me if I knew what was in style this season I wouldn't know. I am pretty classic. Clean lines, plaid, argyle, some paisley, fair isle, tweeds, cords.
I have some OLD clothes, too. I have some things from almost ten years ago that I still wear to work and no one knows how old just by looking. Some things are still be sold by certain stores (some things from LLBean and Lands' End are always available)

I wear what looks nice. If I see a trend I like i'll try parts of it, but in the end if the "trends" look like garbage on you then how "trendy" are you really?

I spend money on classic things - like most of you said.
Trendy things? I'll pick them up at H&M or Urban Outfitters. That way I don't spend a ton of money on something that won't be around later.
