I agree it was in poor taste, and she probably should have known better. However, if the person the comment was directed act publicly said it's a non-issue, and there was no offense taken, Al Sharpton should not be involved. Then again, I don't think Al should EVER be involved in ANYTHING.... 
HE is the one making this a huge racial media frenzy. Great way to stir the pot and keep racial tensions high.....

I saw that this morning.
As soon as she said "lynched" you coud tell she was thinking oops I didn't mean it that way.
If Tiger understood she meant no ill will everyone else should.

I cannot believe this man feels he's in a position to "demand" anything.

That would make my DAY. Sharpton brings negativity to any fight for equality. Anytime he is involved, I am already leaning the other way because he is such a radical.

I agree that word has a very negative conotation...she obviously realized she made a mistake and apologized. Tiger Woods doesn't have a problem with it...W T H is Al Sharpton creating hate where there is none. Have we become such a sensitive society that people can no longer mispeak and apologize for their mistake?

Yes!! I think it would be an even bigger deal if one of the "high profile" anchors used the word lynch when speaking about anyone of color!

Being said out of poor taste, the commentator and Tiger seem to have a really good relationship..its agreed she didn't mean what was said...
As a annoucer, she has to be very PC with her words...had it been a white golfer, this story may of never happened..
