anyone else's cat act like a dog?
i swear my little fur baby acts just like our rottie (that we had to put down when he got cancer  ). he is sooo playful, loves to run and hide and play "tag," and even though he won't "sit" or "stay" he knows the command for "lay down" - and he does it! 
anyone else's cat act like that? i've had cats all my life but never one this awesome

TOTALLY. I have 4 cats, 2 of them walk on a leash, plays fetch, begs, and goes in the bathtub (WITH water in it!), waits at the door for us, licks you... it's awesome!
Funny thing is, my one was raised with a rottie since he was a kitten, too!

Dottie totally plays with balls like she's a cat. Maybe there was a Freaky Friday incident.
I'm going to try and take video of it tonight to show you how crazy it is.

My cats are super playful. Two of them are always waiting at the door for us. The other one sits on the top of the stairs when we come home.
They follow us all around the house and crave attention.
I don't think its that they act like dogs, I just think its cats usually get a bad rap of being the unfriendly pet.

yes...sort of....he greets me at the door when I get home at night....will sort of play fetch when I throw a ball to him!!
BUT if he wants nothing to do with me..,,he will hide!!

My boy cat totally acts like a dog sometimes.
He loves to play fetch, and he walks around the house with his soft foam ball in his mouth. He'll drop it by our feet, wait til we throw it, chase after it like a mad man, and then bring it back for more.
He also begs at the kitchen table, is always hanging out in the kitchen when we are cooking or making something, and gives one loud sharp meow if we don't pay attention to him just like a dog would bark at you.

totally!!!!!
when we come home from work he runs to the door to see us and then drops to the ground to be rubbed on his belly.
when people come over he is curious and gets close to them and smells them.
He loves to play fetch!!!
He also is clumsy cats are not suppost to be clumsy are they??? no
we call him catdog sometimes. Love him!!!!

I swear DH & I think our little baby thinks he's a dog...
he comes when you call his name or whistle for him
he chases after DH and plays hide & seek
he LOVES water - he jumps in the shower with us all the time
he plays fetch - I swear he does lol
he comes running to the door when we get home
he cries if he doesn't see us...
we are in love - he's our little "boy"

No, but I swear my pug thinks he is a cat.
He cleans himself like a cat, he sleeps in odd and very high places, and his snores sound like purrsss
