Anyone have tooth colored "clear" braces?
I have "clear" braces but the rubber bands are white. EVERY time I get them changed and then eat or drink something (like soup) they change to the color of what I eat or drink. They eventually get to a point where they are yellowish and it drives me nuts!!
Do you think it is silly if I ask for another color band considering I am not a 13 yr old girl?? 
Does anyone with braces have colored bands? I know....huge dilemma

I had ceramic braces in middle school... I think my rubber bands were clear.. I never had a problem with them turning colors...

I would ask to have your bands changed more frequenlty.....or ask them if they have a clear that doesn't yellow as much.........GL

I had clear braces when I was 25 and had the same issue and I was very dilligent about keeping them clean, but they still stained yellowish. My ortho. said there was nothing I could do.

I just had clear braces and I had the same problem. I drink a lot of coffee so that did not help. Sometimes I would get the colors (light colors)
It did help though when I drank coffee with a straw.

I have braces right now too...I get the lite silver colored band...it looks almost clear-but it doesn't stain b/c it's a color....

I had the same problem when I had clear braces. So instead of "clear" bands, I had "white" bands. They don't color as badly as the "clear" bands.

I pretty much drink everything with a straw and only drink coffee once in a while...my problem is soup! And I refuse to drink it through a straw! 
I think I will ask for a light color when I go on saturday. Maybe a light pink.
