Has this ever happened to you?
Yesterday on the subway, the train jerked forward and a young man reached out and grabbed my boob!!!
Full on grab...and when it happened he looked right at me, and looked down and didn't say he was sorry or anything!!! I was horrified!!!!
So my question is, when you grab or bump into someone on the subway, do you apologize???
I always do!!!
Thoughts?

My first thought is he did it on purpose and the train lurching was just an "excuse." My second thought is that if he was that young maybe he was just too mortified to apologize.

He was probably mortified and there's a possibility that he said sorry and you didn't hear him.
I apologize when I bump into people except for when they ignore repeated "excuse me"s - I figure they had a warning.

i agree - when i was in college there was a local man who was wanted by the police for doing just that on a repetitive basis

i agree - when i was in college there was a local man who was wanted by the police for doing just that on a repetitive basis
Honestly, it never dawned on me that this could have been done on purpose until this morning..
What is wrong with people!??!

I always say I'm sorry if I bump someone. If someone did that to me and didn't apologize, I probably would have yelled at him. I have a bad temper when it comes to rude people on public transportation

Funny subway story. My grandmother's best friend, Blanche (great old lady name, right!?) lives in Brooklyn... has her entire life. She was on the subway a few years ago and the train jerked forward and the man behind her grabbed her @ss in the process. Well, she turned around, smacked his hand away and said "Hey buddy, my husband hasn't been that close to me in 20 years... BACK OFF!!!". He scurried away....

YES....I can't really even remember exactly what happened. I was on a crowded train and my *** was grabbed! They train didn't even jerk forward...And I believe I had a winter jacket on and he slid his hand up my leg...I think I either kneed him in his area or stepped on his foot with the heel of my shoe...It was like 6-7 years ago though
