Me too ... I woke up with a migraine at 4AM so stayed home but I already feel better and have nothing to do. Well, I guess I could get out of bed and shower

Alrighty then. Since you asked. I think if you are willing to go ball s to the wall you should be able to handle the backlash. A LOT of people play the "oh poor me" card then turn around a day later and do something outrageous to contradict there pity post. Make sense.

I am not a fan of pity posts. but mostly b/c I LOATHE the idea of someone taking pity on me for whatever hardships might come my way,
so when people ask for and invite pity, it digusts me.
I want to clarify though, that I think there is a difference between asking for help/prayers/venting and posting continually about the woe that is you.

i don't mind them so much
what irks me is people that post a constant diet of whining and complaining
every day, it's something else
never anything good
especially when most of the complaints are against the husband
i mean good lord, does he do ANYTHING right? if not, why did you marry him? It only makes you look stupid for continuing to stay with him if all you're gonna do is b*tch and whine
it also irks me when people have an issue and start like 50 update threads
yes, updates are good - we like updates - but let's try to consolidate a tad

Not big on the pity posts...I think they are just a cry for attention.
No matter if you are complaining about money, DH or family - there's three sides to every story and you are only putting yours out there looking for everyone to be on your side.
